I told Eli that we could bake cookies during his brothers' naptime, and he was looking forward to it all morning. We made chocolate-chocolate chip. He counted to make sure we had 12 on the cookie sheet. We decided that the cookie dough was quite delicious. I always pause before handing him the spoon to lick, but then think that licking the spoon is one of the best parts of childhood.
Now we're off to put puzzles together while it's nice and quiet and calm!
