Eli and the Food Network

My dear son has two new loves. When Kevin works late and Eli and I are home by ourselves for dinner, I usually turn on the Food Network channel as I make dinner. Eli loves Paula Deen. He gets all excited and asks for “Paul Deen, Paul Deen, Paul Deen!”

Rachael Ray comes on after Paula Deen, and by then I usually turn it off or am washing dishes and not paying attention that it’s on. Eli asked me “who’s that?” and I said, “Oh, that’s Rachael Ray.” Now he says “Where Wachel Way?” I said, “Paula Deen is on now and Rachael Ray is on after that.” So he sees Paula Deen and says “Paul Deen cooking. Wachel Way on after.”
